Dr. Janey Jim MSc DC

Dr. Janey Jim is a chiropractor with over 20 years of experience helping families move and feel their best. She graduated magna cum laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where she completed specialty training in Chiropractic Clinical Sciences, and holds a Master’s degree in Neuroscience from the University of British Columbia.

Janey is certified in perinatal and pediatric chiropractic through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and works closely with The Midwifery Group in Vancouver. She’s passionate about supporting women through pregnancy, easing the physical changes that come with it, and preparing the body for birth. She’s also certified in the Webster Technique—a gentle pelvic alignment method that can help reduce discomfort and support optimal positioning for delivery.

After birth, Janey helps new parents recover and reconnect with their bodies, addressing postpartum healing, pelvic floor function, C-section scar care, and common issues like neck, back, or wrist pain. Because the pelvic floor and feet are closely connected, she often incorporates gait analysis and foot rehabilitation to restore balance and movement from the ground up.

Janey also provides safe, gentle, evidence-based care for babies and children. She supports healthy motor development and helps with challenges such as tongue-tie, colic, and breastfeeding difficulties. With light, hands-on adjustments and personalized exercises, she helps infants improve latch and movement, and supports toddlers and older children in developing good posture, balance, and gait—building the foundation for healthy growth and confidence in movement.
